Arrival Airport: Fly into Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam on November 6.

Passport & Visa: A passport valid for at least 6 months is required. Most travelers will also need a Tanzania visa, which can be obtained online or on arrival.

Luggage: Please bring a small carry-on or duffel for the Zanzibar and Mikumi portions of the trip. Large luggage can be left at Clay & Kelsey’s apartment in Dar es Salaam.

Weather: Tanzania will be hot and tropical (80–90°F / 27–32°C). Pack lightweight, breathable clothing.

Power Plugs: Tanzania uses UK-style electrical outlets (Type G). Bring a travel adapter if needed.

Currency: The local currency is Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Credit cards are accepted in many places, but cash is helpful for small purchases.

Transportation: All major airport transfers and scheduled group activities are included during the trip.
